うれしい話・はずかしい話し（平成９年度） Encouraging stories/embarrassing stories (for FY1997)

「緊急依頼に応じてドラム缶１７本を運び、先方の工場から感謝された」「作業に不慣れでフォークリフトからドラム缶を落とした」成功談ばかりでなく、失敗談も満載の「うれしい話・はずかしい話」とサブタイトルをつけた小冊子を発行。
社内にとどまらず広く取引関係者に配布して、新規事業といえる企業の姿をアピールしました。

We published a booklet "Report from the work scene" with the subtitle "Encouraging stories/embarrassing stories", which contains various topics describing not only successful achievements but also failed attempts, for example: "As I delivered 17 drums in response to an emergency request, the recipient plant thanked me very much," and "I dropped a drum from the forklift truck through my inability to handle it properly as I was not accustomed to the operation." We made an appeal for a better understanding of our company by distributing the booklet not only inside the company but also to parties concerned with our business as we are engaged in what might be called a 'new' business.

　
ＩＢＣコンテナ Intermediate bulk containers

大口利用の大手自動車メーカーへの納品が主体です。ドラム缶５本分の潤滑油が入り、頻繁な移し替え、容器交換の手間が省けるなどのメリットがあります。

We use this type of container mainly for supplying lubricants for major car manufacturers, who consumelarge amounts of oil. This container has a capacity of five drums, allowing the user to avoid extra work for frequently switching containers to draw oil from, etc.

　

　
外国製エンジンオイルも Engine oil of foreign make, too

甘木営業所では、外国製エンジンオイルの取扱を専用配送車（ミニローリー）で行っています。

We also handle engine oils of foreign make at Amagi Major Distribution Center by using exclusive transport trucks (mini-lorries).

　

　
ワールドカップに一役 Contribution to the World Cup

平成１４年５・６月は、日韓共催のワールドカップで大いに盛り上りました。
ワールドカップの会場となった宮城スタジアム（宮城県利府町）・大分スタジアム（大分市）で使用される自家発電設備向けの軽油配送をＯＬＳで行いました。
写真は開催期間中、安定供給に活躍するＯＬＳ専属車です。

People got very excited in May and June 2000 as South Korea and Japan co-hosted the World Cup. We participated in the event by transferring light oil for private power generation facilities at Miyagi Stadium (Rifu-machi, Miyagi prefecture) and Oita Stadium (Oita city), soccer fields used for the World Cup games. The right-hand picture shows one of our exclusive trucks contributing to a stable supply of oil during the game period.
